These drawings are tools to communicate how best to use a house with both 'passive' (without power) and 'active' (with power) cooling at different times of the day during hot periods.

 

Sometimes people don't know that opening a window on either end of the building will pull air through the house to make it cooler or that sun should not come through the windows in summer and heat up the inside of the house. These drawings try to teach people these important things to remember when trying to keep houses cool, including in summer how heat enters the house.
